What are the PIR?
The PIR (Project Information Requirements) describe, under ISO 19650, which information the client needs at the decision points of a specific project — e.g. for approval, award or investment sign-off. They derive from the OIR and are the basis of the EIR.
Why decision points?
BIM is not an end in itself. The PIR tie the information demand to concrete decisions: what must be known at this gate so we decide well?
- Key decision points — milestones where information is delivered and assessed.
- Project objectives & success criteria — what the project is measured against.
- Link to the organisation — how project information feeds the strategic OIR.
Generate it
In the generator you define decision points, objectives and success criteria — derived from the OIR and ready to feed the EIR. The result: an ISO 19650-compliant PIR as DOCX/PDF.
